The Devonshire Shepherdess – Returns & Refund Policy

Our Promise

We want you to love everything you buy from The Devonshire Shepherdess. If for any reason you’re not completely happy with your order, we’ll do our best to put things right.

1. Returns Eligibility

You have 14 days from receiving your order to let us know if you’d like to return an item.
To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

  • Proof of purchase (such as your order number or confirmation email) is required.

Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns on:

  • Perishable goods such as farm food boxes, meat, or produce.

  • Personal care or skincare items that have been opened or used, for hygiene reasons.

  • Custom or made-to-order items (e.g. gift sets, personalised bundles).

2. How to Start a Return

To start a return, please contact us at [your email address] with your order number and reason for return.
Once your return is approved, we’ll provide instructions for sending it back.

Please note:

  • You’ll be responsible for the cost of return postage (unless the item is faulty or incorrect).

  • We recommend using a tracked postal service, as we can’t be held responsible for items lost in transit.

3. Refunds

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll let you know if your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.

Refunds are issued for:

  • Items returned in resaleable condition within 14 days.

  • Faulty or damaged products (please include photos for our records).

4. Exchanges

If you’d like to exchange an item, please contact us first. We’ll advise whether a replacement can be sent or if a refund and new order will be easier.

5. Damaged or Faulty Goods

We do our best to ensure every order reaches you in perfect condition.
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please email leanne@thedevonshireshepherdess.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

We’ll arrange a replacement, credit, or refund as appropriate.

6. Sale Items

Only full-priced items may be refunded. Sale or promotional items are non-refundable, unless faulty.

2. Digital Products (Courses, Ebooks, and Downloads)

Refunds for Digital Content

Due to the instant-access nature of digital products, refunds are not available once a download, link, or access has been delivered, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

By purchasing a digital product (such as an ebook, course, or download), you agree that:

  • You lose your right to cancel once the content has been accessed or downloaded.

  • All sales are final and non-refundable unless the product is faulty or access is not provided as described.

If you experience technical issues accessing your product, please email [your email address] and we’ll make sure you receive your content.

Exceptions

Refunds for digital items will only be considered if:

  • You purchased the same product twice by mistake.

  • You never received access to the product after payment (and have contacted us within 7 days).

We’ll always do our best to resolve any technical or access issue quickly and fairly.
